Just because your furniture isn't pup-sized doesn't mean you can't share the sofa! The CozyUp Folding Pet Steps are designed to give your furry best friend a leg up on cuddle time. If your pet isn't quite tall enough to reach the bed or couch, or if you want to help protect their joints, these stairs give your dog or cat the freedom to get on and off furniture all by themselves. The fabric tread, siderails and nonskid feet allow even your most nervous pets to confidently walk up and down without fear of sliding or wobbling. Between snuggle sessions, you can conveniently store the collapsible pet steps by folding them flat and sliding them under a piece of furniture. Your pet deserves the best. Trust PetSafe to help keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.

Q: I have a 13 year old chihuahua that weighs 7 lbs & I was wondering if these would work good for him to get on the bed which is rather high up? My concern was the steps close enough together for his little short legs to step up too & if it was too steep?

1 Answer
  • A: It's hard to say specifically whether these would work for your and your dog. The step height is 6.25 inches. The step height on the extra large steps is taller than the step height on the other. The other size has a step height of 4.75 inches.

Q: I'm interested in the X L CozyUp Folding Pet Steps. I have a 75 lb. stocky Lab. Retr. and I want to know if these steps are suitable for outside use since they're plastic. The 25" H will be perfect for her to climb up to get in her pool.

The steps work great for our 20 # dog. She's getting old and I'm concerned about her joints. I just wish the step pads stayed on better. As long as we don't move the steps the pads stay on fine. They are light weight and good size.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not srong enough for my Lab.

Product looks great but my big butt dog is too heavy, 115 lb., the product was not secure enough to convince my dog to scurry up the stairs.

We are sorry for any misunderstanding about these stairs! Please know that even the smallest size of these stairs is recommended for pets up to 150 lbs., so your lab would not be too heavy. Though the stairs should never be taken at a run, especially while your dog is learning it is important for them to take the stairs slowly.

We would recommend working with your dog on leash and rewarding them with praise and high value treats first for placing their feet on the lowest step, then gradually moving upward. In this way, most dogs can be taught to use the stairs gently at a walk.

If you have any difficulty after trying these steps, please get in touch with us. Our number is 1-800-732-2677, and our hours are Monday through Friday 8 A.M.- 7 P.M. EST. PetSafe
