Q: I have a medium 20lb dog. I need steps, but it's 27" to the top of my mattress. The highest steps I've found are 20" high, but are xlarge and have a weight capacity of 200lb and of course costs a lot? Doesn't anyone make a higher step for smaller dogs?

Q: I am interested in the depth of the risers...not the height which I could see originally. Dividing the depth...24 in...by 4 doesn't take into consideration the slant up to the first step and the slant of the back support. So...I'm still left wondering.

Upgraded the steps

Went from a soft (foam/carpet) three step to this rigid four step. It is lighter and moves around some. After about a month, around 60% of the dogs use it - the rest don't trust it. Cats love it.
