Exactly what it said it would be. 2 labs one puppy 24lbs one 65lbs. Both walked up and down first time with slight encouragement (well the pup ran up) and have continued to do so. Opens and closes easily. Easy to attach to car. Is light weight so many want to steady it and make sure secure attachment.

You get what you pay for

Functions and tall enough for 29” high tailgate, but was disappointed in the “heavy duty” steps and steel (really?) legs. My 8yo 80 lb Irish setter is not wild that the fabric gives a little when she steps on the stairs, but she’ll use it and it will save her hips/pride (and my back). Arrived with one support leg bent (screw looks like it was overtightened) and one of the other legs installed upside down (rubber no-slip piece is at the top of the riser, not on the bottom). Stairs are a must for a roadtrip this weekend or would send it back. It will get used for occasional trips to vet, etc. I didn’t want to spend $200 on stairs, and it’s clear I didn’t.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Pet stairs

I have a 12 year old Australian Shepherd that was have some difficulty getting in and out of my SUV. The portable stairs have been a great for her. I walked her up and down the stairs a few times with a treat and she was all set. They are super easy to use and store in your vehicle. They came fully assembled. You just stretch them out and secure them to your vehicle with a clip. No more stress on my older dogs joints and my back. I would highly recommend.
