Affordable Flea/Tick Protection

I have a LOT of pets and they are outdoors. Ticks this year have been out of control and every time I take an animal to the vet they have a tick transmitted disease. Pet Armor is a much more affordable way to access flea and tick protection safely. I can apply this topical and give my pup a heartworm only preventative, and she’s set. I’m excited to try the flea/tick collars, they’re more affordable than others and last for 8 months, perfect for me because I have so many to apply to and will forget. Only downside, I did find a 1.5-2 day engorged tick on my pup within the 30 day window (along with two, tiny dead ticks). I tried to get an ID on it, and it’s potentially a lone star tick. It seems this type is harder to kill, so maybe that’s why it was taking longer. It was still likely within the 48 hour window, so I am still considering it effective. Next time I’m going to be more careful to apply it directly to the skin and make sure very little ends up on her fur, hopefully this will improve efficacy. Another reason I want to try the flea/tick collars is because they’re effective once the tick touches the fur, it doesn’t even have to bite. In an area with bobcat fever and blood mycoplasma, this is so important. I’ve lost some of my colony cats and it’s broken my heart. Really excited to work with this brand to get my pets the protection they need!

Cheaper alternative for same results

I've been using PetArmor Plus for Dogs for flea and tick protection, and it's been a budget-friendly alternative to Frontline. It's easy to apply, waterproof once dried, and helps protect against fleas, flea eggs, ticks, and chewing lice. While it may take a little longer to start working compared to some premium brands, I've found it to be effective for keeping pests under control when used consistently each month. Lovely product! Easy to apply and had no struggle with the applicator! My doggies did not have any allergic reactions, thank goodness. We struggled with fleas because of outside cats, this worked wonders!

PetArmor Plus Flea & Tick Topical works like a charm. It doesn’t have a strong or offensive odor like some brands do. The applicator was easy to cut open and apply. I appreciated the longer length of the applicator tip compared to other brands also because I didn’t get the medicine on me. It dries quickly and doesn’t leave a crusty or greasy spot in his fur.
