The Permatex Pneumatic and Hydraulic Sealant is designed for locking and sealing high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This easy-to-use sealant contains no fillers or particles which could contaminate system fluids, foul valves, or clog fine filters and screens. This pneumatic and hydraulic sealant reliably cures on 'as received' fasteners and controlled locking strength affords easy disassembly.DIRECTIONS: 1. Clean and dry parts using Permatex Surface Prep activator. 2. Shake bottle well before use. 3. Apply sealant to leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free of sealant. Apply to only _4 of a thread turn. It is not necessary to apply to all threads. 4. Assemble parts and tighten to recommended torque. Refer to Technical Data Sheet for complete information. NOTE: Permatex Thread Sealant seals threaded metal fittings on hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and cooling systems. It is not recommended for use on plastic pipes.
