Yes, it is a bit dusty, but my initial experience is it's not worse than what you get with most cheaper cat litters on the market today. I wouldn't use it in a covered litter box, then again, I would never use a covered litterbox. It seems to clump fine, I think you have to make sure the litter amount is deep enough, at least three inches deep. The biggest drawback for me is I feel it is average in quality, and a decent price if you buy the fifty pound bags, however...I had to drag the bags, as I couldn't lift them and the smaller containers of the litter were more expensive.

This is the worst litter ever! I'd give 0 or negative stars if allowed! The dust is awful!! There's so much dust that I had to wash my glasses after filling the boxes & after every time I scoop it! I had to mix in a better litter to try to make it usable & it's still awful. If you put your dry hand into the bag & just touch this stuff it comes out covered in dust! Imagine your poor cat digging in freshly used litter & then having to clean all that off their paws! That just screams health issues to me. I bought 4 bags of this mess when it was on sale. I refuse to use the remaining 3 but can't, in clear conscience, donate them & let shelter cats that may have health issues deal with the ridiculous amount of dust. I guess it will be used for spills & maybe trunk weight in the winter. Avoid this litter if you like to breathe clean air & want your cats to as well.
