Q: Can you cook with small sticks of wood instead of charcoal?

- A: Hi Kjam22, Thanks for your inquiry. Here is what I received from Oklahoma Joes- It would be no problem using wood sticks, but it probably would not work because the grill has never been tested with wood sticks. The sticks would probably burn fast and need to be replenished often. This will be a challenge if they have food on the grill and could result in under cooked or over cooked food.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Could you put this on the tailgate of a pick-up truck and cook or would it get too hot? We have the Rhino spray-on lining.

We have owned the Rambler for about a year now. It has been from the Hill Country to the beach and been used as a grill and smoker. Very durable and have not had any rusting issues with the grill grates using a little olive oil and stored covered outside in a humid climate. Do take care of the gap around the lid with a little gasket tape and be careful when opening and closing the lid as the rear hinge gives the lid some play. You can definitely use as a smoker as long as you run an offset setup and go easy on the quantity of charcoal/wood. This thing can get really hot fast!

I brought this about year ago. I used this so much i need to replace the ASH DRAW and the CHARCOAL TRAY the CHARCOAL TRAY HANGERS. But when i look on here i can't find them. Gives me parts i don't need
