Rated 4 out of 5 by from A really good cleaner After trying 3 or 4 other cleaner on my garage floor this one definitely was a step above the rest. Didn't entirely clean up soaked in oil stains but is way ahead of the others I tried.

Can this be used to clean out air tos that have been unused for a long time. The oil gets gummy inside, built up, and the tool will not rotate or run properly. After the product is used, I would continue using the expensiveair tool oil daily?

Asked by: Jbal
This product is non-corrosive and should be safe to use on air tools. However, as with any product being used on a surface for the first time, we would suggest testing for surface integrity.

Is this safe to use on aluminum?

Asked by: Steve Mechanic
Oil Eater is safe on coated aluminum but not raw aluminum. It also needs to be rinsed right away. If allowed to dry it may discolor the metal.
