I adopted a foster of mine last year - he came from Dallas after being run over and having a hind leg amputated. Once here we found out that he was actually heartworm positive as well. He went through treatment and got extremely weak which took a toll on his remaining legs joints and ability to climb any sort of incline. We were carrying him up over flights of stairs and he was visibly in pain. I had been giving him consequin tabs without much luck and then I found via the cruelty cutter app that they weren’t cruelty free. This happened to be the only brand at the store at the time that was cruelty free so i grabbed them without much hopes. Well I will say I was happily mistaken! My Dougie has been having one bone in the morning and night for about a month and the other day I was upstairs and the next thing I knew so was he!! HE CAN CLIMB STAIRS NOW AGAIN!! 😭 I will forever be a customer now!
