Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for my 2 car garage Works great and easy to install. My only complaint is I wish I was a remote or something to adjust the heat a little easier. With that said, for the price, I have no real complaint.

My Garage is a 3 stall 1000 square feet. When reading the reviews I was wondering if this would be big enough to heat that area to 65 degrees or so? Do they make a bigger model?

Asked by: Squeek
This is only designed to cover an area of 500sqft. We do not carry a bigger model.

Can you just plug this into a 220 outlet??

Asked by: DERBY
The NewAir heater is set up to be hard-wired; that is, it just has a couple wires and a ground essentially hanging out of the back of the heater. However, you could purchase a 220-volt plug and wire it to the heater.

How many watts is the unit? Also, can I hard wire the unit to a wall thermostat?

Asked by: Mikedpz
Hello, This unit is a 5000 watt heater. It can be wired to a thermostat, however we do not recommend it as it will void the warranty.

220 or 120 eletric

Asked by: Barry G
This heater runs on 220 volts.

I assume this residential electrical heating unit is 220/240 Volt, Single Phase. Before I'd spend $300+ I would like to know the voltage and also current (amps) draw to set up the wiring and electric breaker box.

Asked by: N51V
The unit is 240 volts and 20.8 amps.
