National Plant Network Shamrock Holly Inkberry grows as a compact, rounded shrub and thrives in moist locations. Its greenish-white flowers open in spring, and if pollinated, mature to black, pea-sized berries that feed the local bird population. An ideal shrub for the bird-watcher's garden and planting sites near ponds and streams, the Shamrock common holly plant thrives for years and tolerates shade, air pollution, and wet soil. Excellent as an informal hedge or eye-catching topiary, it resists deer and rabbits and maintains an attractive shape with little pruning or other holly plant care.

For additional information on this product, please see the Product Documents section for all downloadable user manuals, installation guides, brochures and warranty statements.

Good value for the price. Plants were healthy and ready to plant. I shipped to my local store and the staff was great!

These Should Work For Me

I ordered these online because I couldn't find them at a local nursery. They were larger than expected. I may have passed on them in person as many of the leaves were riddled with tiny holes and the plants were quite root bound. I planted them the next day, after doing quite a bit of root pruning to try to open them up. They've been in the ground for a couple weeks and are doing well.
