Because its suckering roots anchor into shallow soil surfaces, these low maintenance landscaping plants are ideal for controlling erosion in problem areas. Its attractive, scented foliage makes a delightful impression in shade gardens, boggy areas, hedges, shrub borders and privacy screens. You can expect the tree to grow to be about 10 ft. to 15 ft. tall and 6 ft. to 10 ft. wide.
