A larger growing Camellia, the National Plant Network 2.5 qt. Blood of China Camellia Japonica Plant produces a striking display of red peony-like blooms that stand out marvelously against its dark green foliage. Blooming from late winter to early spring, the red japonica plant is one of the only varieties that produce deep red flowers with an orange cast. A stunning specimen, this japonica plant deserves a featured spot in any landscape for their neat and well-kept appearance and beautiful and fragrant flowers. The mature size is 10 to 12 ft. tall and 8 to 10 ft. wide.

Finally here!

Out of 6 plants 3 were damaged in shipping but they are now tied and staked to help the broken stems heal. There was a mix up and the first order never shipped, so this was the re-order.

Not quite what I expected

Plants arrived with hardly any foliage. Some had only one stem. Some were packed two to a box, with foliage to foliage. This packing method caused stems to break or get bent and then break off. Root mass was not very solid and removing the plant from the container caused half the dirt to just crumble and fall apart. The website stated no delivery fee if I spent more than $39. I spent over $200 and was charged a delivery fee. Store employee told me plants would arrive at the store. They didn't. came directly to my house. I've planted all 10 plants, hoping they survive.
