I have four young feral cats, all from the same litter, that I have been feeding. I was hoping to find a cat food that was a good price and something they liked. First of all, when I opened the bag, I noticed that the expiration date was a few days away, which I think was lacking on Tractor Supply Co.'s part. I glad the bag was only a 10 pound size. Then I noticed the scent was lacking...kinda smelled like cardboard and not fish, not like the old cat food I was feeding them. Per recommendation of mixing the old cat food with the new, when it got to half old and half new, they left a lot of food in their bowls. Very uncommon for them. I purchase their old cat food to add back into the mix and they are picking out the old cat food and not eating the Country Lane Multi-Cat food. Another point is that the 1st ingredient is ground whole corn. The other food I was feeding them cost a little more money and the 1st ingredient was chicken by-product. This is the 7th ingredient down from the list in the ingredients of the Country Lane Multi-Cat food. From what I have researched about cats is that need a high protein diet. In the wild, they do not eat corn meal. They eat meat. For a little more money, I'm going to go back to my other cat food.

I bought this to feed ferrel cats and they take a sniff and just walk away. A few have eaten some but it doesn't get eaten like the other brands I have used.

I have a few feral cats running around the property that I decided to start feeding. 🐈🐾 They seem to enjoy it enough to fight over it sometimes. 😼😾 All in all, I would recommend it for feral cats! 😻

To tell the truth, the cats don't think much of this cat food. It is , however, cheap. They may get used to it. They actually started eating it after 3 weeks. I guess they finally gotten hungry.
