Good for a barn not good for a hike

Okay if you aren’t doing a lot of walking but after a mile in these the upper rubber where it meets the soft poly part rubbed my ankle raw

Tough break in

I am one that doesn't consume animal products so these stood out to me. The boots are well made and overall comfortable if you can make it past the break in period. The ankles take a beating the first couple of days. It think this suffering could've been avoided if the boot had a little more padding around the ankle.
