The Muck Boot Company Men's Apex Mid Zip Outdoor Boots are high-performance boots built on an innovative platform for high endurance outdoor pursuits requiring a more athletic and agile boot. These work boots are 100% waterproof and coupled with breathable mesh linings to provide elite protection and moisture management. The upper features a lock-down zipper closure system, a natural scree collar and surprisingly light-weight performance for great all-day comfort and fit. These men's work boots are equally at home on loose rocky terrain, cold/wet ground and of course, the MUCK.

Purchased on a whim based on sale and reviews and have not been disappointed. Boots are well constructed with solid traction. No issues with Zipper function. Surprisingly, the boots run big but they are supposed to be wore with multiple layers of socks

Buy these boots! I love mine.

I am very pleased with these boots. I was surprised by how light they felt on my feet yet they’re really sturdy. Easy to put on and take off. Holds up well to mucking through my heavy wet clay yard while I’m digging new planting beds. Would be good for hiking or fishing trips to the river. I highly recommend these boots.

Use care with Zipper

Got these for the barn b/c no leather paddock boot can take the abuse. Had a false start with a defective zipper, but was quickly and happily replaced. These are OUTSTANDING! Tough and so comfy I frequently forget to switch back into street shoes when I depart. Cosy and dry in cold weather, but still comfy in summer (N. Alabama). No rubs or discomfort. I don’t ride in them as one can in paddock boots, but I didn't ride in the paddock boots (2x cost of these and fell apart within months) either. Would buy again.

Sturdy but questionable zipper.

Very comfortable and durable waterproof boot. Unfortunately the zipper on both was hard to operate from the beginning (I assumed due to being tight for waterproof). However within a few weeks became completely inoperable. I still wear them daily but only half zipped and I slip them on and off. I have not submerged them in this state, but have still not had my feet get wet while wearing them like this.

Yes, I recommend this product.
