Q: Why does the ignition turn off when the starter is engaged??

  • A: There could be an issue with your starter switch. To check your ignition switch, you can use an ohmmeter to see if there is any connection between the “S” and “B” terminals. If there isn't any, the ignition switch is your problem and you will need to replace it to get your mower running properly again.

Cheap junk

It lasted a month then no longer works..I have to jump the solenoid to get it to start.the mower has never been in the rain and stored indoors..I tested the switch and it no longer has a starter signal coming from the switch

ignition switch for toro professional series

This switch replaced the one on my toro 11:32 professional series 15760. works like a champ and 20 bucks cheaper than at the hardware store. also buy all of your nuts and bolts at TS, they sell them by the weight and it is very cheap....just sayin
