- A: Hello! Once you turn on the LP tank, turn the control knob to high, hold down the red button on the side of the safety valve, and manually light the heater head with a long stick match or a long stick lighter. Have a great day!2 years agoHelpful?

I use this in my hunting shack which is 6Lx4Wx7T. Have had outside temps as low as -10 and that little heater had it up to 55° inside with the window open.
