When filled with water, the built-in ant moat stops ants, keeping nectar fresh for hungry hummingbirds. Hummingbirds easily feed from the 4 red and white bee-resistant ports, but bees and wasps are stopped right in their tracks. The wide opening and flat top make it easy to fill, and the feeder easily disassembles for convenient cleaning. The clear bottle keeps nectar levels within view so you know when it's time to refill. Q: Even though I keep the ant moat full and it works. I don't know how they do it, but by the next day I have 5-10 earwigs floating inside the bottle. I even put grease around the branch before the hook 🪝. How do they get in there and how do I stop it ?

Fluid doesn’t flow properly

The feeder will not automatically refill from its reservoir. The birds drink and the bottom tank goes dry. The glass top is nearly full! I need to manually go tip the unit. Then liquid goes down and replenishes the drinking area. Must be a bad design.

A pretty, sturdy hummingbird feeder.

This bird feeder is sturdier, and prettier than other ones we purchased. The hummingbirds seem to like it better than other ones we've had, and it's large enough for several birds to drink from at the same time. Squirrels and other larger birds seem to leave it alone. Over all, one of the nicer Hummingbird feeders we've bought.
