Q: When I try to fill the jar the water just pours out. What am I doing wrong?
3 years ago1 Answer
- A: Hi! To open the feeder, you will use a twisting motion to remove the bottle from the basin. The nectar goes in the bottle and then when you twist the basin back on, and flip it over quickly, the basin fills with nectar and the birds feed from the flower ports. You can fill the bottle about 3/4 of the way and that should be plenty. If you have any other questions, comments or concerns, please know you can always reach out to our Customer Service Department at 1-800-352-9164 and any one of our customer service reps would be happy to assist you. The bottom where the flowers are it’s really cute. I really like it, but where you put the nectar is metal and all it did was rust out!! Beware you cannot give rusted metal …mixed with their nectar.
