Miracle-Gro 8 qt. Moisture Control Potting Mix

Great soil for potting house plants and veggies!! I used this for my tomato plants and they’ve been thriving. It’s good clean dirt that drains very well.

Worked well. I was able to easily plant my plants and the soil separated easily. Plants grew as expected. Size of bag was useful for a small indoor gardener like myself as I don't really have much space to store.

I am in the middle of making my balcony an oasis, or trying to. My HOA isn’t allowing me to put plants on the railing so I had to get creative so I have plants hanging here and there, on the ground, etc. I want to be surrounded by greenery. I always use miracle grow brand, it I go with whatever is basic. This moisture control potting mix is perfect because all of my plants are outdoor potted plants, and I’m always worried of overwatering or even underwatering if my life gets too hectic to attend to the plants. My worries are over because this mix assists in keeping my plants healthy. This summer has been a scorcher and some of my plants were getting sun burnt but I feel like after I started using this potting mix, the plants have not been drying up as fast. It says it feeds up to six months, so that makes me happy too. So far so good.

What else can I say! My basil was always small and died. After the potting mix, look at my basils! They grew so big and it is the size of my palm. I was worry about the smell but it does not smell. It works well in my pots. My plants are happier. When I water the plants, I believe it holds right amount of water. So the next day when it is time to water, the top of the soil is slightly dry.
