This Mantis Dethatcher Attachment for 9 in. Mantis Tillers quickly removes weeds and thatch from lawns. Thatch prevents air, water and nutrients from reaching the grass roots. This lawn detachment attachment is not recommended for surface-rooted grasses (Bermuda, Aloysia, centipede, and St. Augustine) because it can damage the root system. Dethatcher Attachment is compatible with 9 in. Mantis 7000 series Tillers (sold separately).

Great attachment for your Mantis Tiller

I bought this attachment to extract moss from my PNW lawn. It does an excellent job pulling up moss and leaving the grass behind. I didn’t want another machine to buy (dethatcher). I ran across this attachment when looking for a de-thatcher on the internet. It pins onto the Mantis Tiller drive shafts and is up and running in seconds. I’m impressed with how easy it is to install and how well it works!

This was our first time thatching a lawn.Renting one was not an option.We already own a rototiller so we decided to see if their was an attachment for thatching and sure enough there was. It was easy to put on and use it, paid for itself in time and saved us lots of money. We are pleased with the product and can't wait to see what our lawn will look like next spring.
