Warning for piglets

I gave this product a 2-star rating because of an issue that it MAY have caused one of our piglets. Again, please understand that this product was also given to another of our piglets and they were just fine. After consuming for 3 feedings we noticed after a couple of days that our piglet's urine was leaving a white chalky residue once the urine was cleaned and dried up properly. Then our piglet's urine began to turn darker, he was having trouble uriniating and then blood begin to show in his urine. We took him to our vet and after urine test and blood work this seemed to be a UTI. Our vet explained that sometimes piglets can get a calcium overdose, and this could cause irritation in the urinary tract and then result in an infection and inflammation. It was suggested that we stop giving this supplement. After 2 weeks, antibiotics, and inflammation medication our piggy is back to weeing normally now. Again, this product MAY have been the reason, we cannot say for sure. I just wanted to give a warning to those who might have young piglets that it is a possibility. As stated, it did not seem to bother our other piglet. Just wanted to provide this information in case you are using this product with piglets and notice some issues.

No, I do not recommend this product.
