- A: Majic All Purpose Enamel is a utility grade alkyd enamel that may be used interior, or exterior, may be applied to a variety of surfaces and provide protection against many common exposures… Majic All Purpose is not a fibered material so it will not perform as a “sealer” for an RV roof (will not bridge cracks, seal rivet joints or prevent water leakage on overlapping seams). Majic All Purpose may provide a few years protection to a pitched surface, but would not perform if the roof were flat (horizontal) and subject to ponding water, or standing snow.3 years agoHelpful?

- A: For large projects, a cup spray gun is recommended. It is perfectly fine to use a brush or roller if you prefer. You may thin with Majic Catalyst Hardener. We have included a link below which provides detailed information on selecting a sprayer and thinning the paint: https://www.majicpaints.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Paint-Training_TSCWEB.pdf As a general rule, 1 quart will cover about 100 square feet.6 years agoHelpful?

Lightly-tinted paint thinner

This paint used to be decent, but the company has now made it so thin that it's useless. There is so little solids in it that you may as well paint with water.

Good paint if you are patient...

This is good paint. That said it only dries in 24 hours under perfect conditions...like in the dry desert on the hottest day of Summer. In the humid south it takes more like 48 hours...know this before trying to apply a 2nd coat. I waited 54 hours before applying 2nd coat in hot/humid south Alabama in middle of August. If you are painting something that lives in the sun (picnic table, mailbox post, or utility trailer floor) I'd strongly suggest 2 coats for best protection.
