Q: Thinning of #8-2477-1 what can you thin with and what is maximum ratio for conventional spray using the hardener #8-0950
4 years ago1 Answer
- A: Majic All Purpose Enamel is a utility grade enamel that dries hard when applied in accordance to package directions, and provides durable protection to a variety of substrates and exposures. Because of VOC limits and the unique construction of Majic AP Enamel, we do NOT recommend the product be thinned, as stated on the product label, but to use full-body – apply in thin coats, and allow 24 hours between coats. Majic Catalyst Hardener is recommended for use with Majic Tractor, Truck & Implement Enamels only…do NOT mix Catalyst/Hardener with Majic AP Enamel.4 years agoHelpful?

Great for trailers
I painted a 24 foot gooseneck trailer using this paint without hardener. The trailer stays in the weather 24/7. The paint has held up great so far. It applied easy using a Wagner paint crew sprayer. I did paint the trailer with an aerosol primer from tractor supply before applying this paint.

reading the dry time and conditions needed this paint is terrible to rustoleum. they want 50 percent humidity and above 77*. so in my climate I can paint maby one month of the year. its dry time at this temp is 5-7hrs, this is usual just to a tacky dry. also the 25hrs wait between coats is no good. this one is getting returned.

Poor quality

This paint takes forever to dry. Applied accordingly to directions on a utility trailer took over a week to dry. Still waiting on a fuel tank to dry after 5 days.
Don't waste your money.

I will never buy another Majic product....
I bought 2 gallons of white to paint my camper, which was already white ...
Done exactly what it said ... Sprayed it with a gun..... 2 coats and it still wouldn't cover....
It ain't worth a dime..... Rust-Oleum is 100 times better and just a few dollars more....
Save yourself the trouble. Use Rust-Oleum or something else.......

Took a long time to dry, slumped and was not as glossy as Rustoleum. Definitely an inferior product.
No, I do not recommend this product.
