Love themI bought 3 of these a month ago and it is SO nice to be able to fill the water without taking the whole dang bottle off the cage. The whole lid slides off the top easier than flipping the plastic but I just carry a gallon jug full of water and go down the line filing bottles. So so easy and so worth it

Love these bottles! We have had a couple of different types of bottles and these are the ones we like best. They don't seem to leak as often and the rabbits, for the most part, have no trouble drinking from them. The only time we have had trouble with rabbits figuring them out was young bunnies used to drinking from a bowl. These are easy to install to the cages. The brackets do come loose occasionally, but not bad.

Star City Rabbitry from
Leaking Issues!I have a large rabbitry. I spent alot of money buying these bottles for 70 cages. At first they did not leak, easy to fill, and easy to clean. But after cleaning and putting back they now leak which causes me problems. Very disappointed that I invested so much money in these water bottles.

Tricky but greatOnce the rabbits figure out how to work it, they love it. I love it too. If you have wire bottom cages like I do, you wont even notice any leak issues? If anything I've found these to leak less than the regular ball water bottles (and because of it there is always still some water between waterings as there should be, unlike before) and the fact they need to push it a certain way prevents the rabbits who like to lean on their water bottle nozzles from completely draining it within minutes.
It also cut down on time required for rabbit care substantially, it used to take me close to an hour to refill all of my rabbits bottles but now it only takes about 10 minutes, giving me way more time to actually enjoy the fuzzies. I just walk my aisles with a hose instead of having to run back and forth with arm fulls of bottles.
Rabbits also cannot seem to toss these off their cages like regular ball-tip bottles. I was coming home almost every day to find at least one of my old bottles missing and I had to look all over the mud until I found a very nasty bottle and hopefully the wire that attached it to the cage too (I had to make a lot of my own due to the originals never being found again).
I docked a star though because some rabbits have serious trouble figuring these out. The majority of my herd figured it out because I did a test run with a doe that liked to tug on the normal-tipped bottles (I guess she knew what she wanted from the start) before buying everyone else one. They seemed to learn from her mostly. But some really did struggle with it. I had some luck with sticking treats to the tip though, like placing peanut butter on the tip or taking a piece of green and wrapping it loosely around it. It took a bit more effort than most might be prepared for especially as water does dribble out a lot as the rabbits try figuring it out. After a couple weeks though it's perfect. :)
