Q: How come it drips a little bit when my guinea pigs drinks out of it and is it normal

- A: It is normal for a small amount of dripping to occur from a water bottle, especially when your guinea pig is drinking from it. However, excessive leaking can indicate an issue. The "no-drip" design of a ball-bearing water bottle works by creating a vacuum seal. When your guinea pig nudges the metal ball to drink, it briefly breaks that seal, and a small drip is often the result of the vacuum re-establishing itself.11 months agoHelpful?
Q: I have bought 5 of them and all of them leak after a couple of weeks. Am I doing something wrong.

Q: Are there replacement parts available for this? I've had it for a year and all of a sudden it's leaking like crazy. As soon as my guinea pig pushes the ball, water runs out like from a faucet.

Q: Does this water bottle work for infant rabbits? I have one that came with the setup that I bought but she is not big enough to really get it to work great. I don't think she can put enough force to get it to work.

Q: I've gone through 4 of these, even trying to change out washers. Still leaking. I have a catch bowl under it...and a catch bowl under that and I have to empty those twice a day. I'm not understanding how that makes them leak free. What's the fix for that?

- A: I’ve been using these for years and sometimes they do end up leaking. I take them all apart and use a small scrub brush. It seems like some of the pieces don’t always sit right. I trade them around to different bottles. I also have used thread tape on the bottle threads. When they work, they’re fabulous!5 years agoHelpful?

Not good for smaller rabbits!

I really wanted these to work for my rabbits. I know a lot of people mentioned them leaking and they leak where you screw on the end, if it isn't tight enough. After tightening it, they were better. I fill the water all the way to the top to monitor how much they were drinking and after two days they were VERY thirsty! I switched back to the regular water bottles and they drank a ton! I really wanted to like these, I hate the old school water bottles and love top fills. But my rabbits are likely just too small to move the ball enough to dispense water more.
The one with the PIN ends suck in the way that they dispense so much water I have puddles from them, but at least they aren't dehydrated from them.
