Sturdy, attractive.

Nice sturdy deck box, however there were problems with attaching the support braces for the spring hinge. There was not enough clearance to attach the nuts onto the four bolts (two on each side) where the brace attaches to the box. We had to use a heat gun to soften the plastic to make an indentation so the nuts would have enough space to attach to the bolts. For a supposedly American made product, this was disappointing.

Finish "assembled" Product very good

Why not a 5*? Building it was a bear. Screwing directly into plastic with oversized screws. and I mean oversized screws, was not comfortable. Also engaging the bottom section with the front and back sections was problematic because the molded engagement clips on the front and back sections were not exactly trimmed.(excess flashing). Final issue, the last 4 bolt holes were not wide enough to accept the bolts..I had to drill them out to open them up. Finish assemble product turned out nice but assembling it....woo.. not a pleasant experience.

Super poor build

One of the most difficult build processes I’ve ever gone through and I’ve built quite a few things. Several of the holes didn’t fit the screws or line up properly. I’m otherwise happy with the finished product.
