Q: How does it adjust.height
6 months ago- A: The Lifetime Adjustable In-Ground Basketball Hoop (44-Inch Polycarbonate) has a Quick Adjust Height System. You can adjust the height in seconds from 8 ft to 10ft. To adjust the height, use a broomstick or rod: push up under the rim to raise it (you'll hear clicks as it locks), and to lower, push up on the release latch behind the rim with the broomstick to disengage it, then guide it down slowly to your desired height. This link is a video that will show you how to raise and lower the system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWyjAhGrH00 Thank you for your inquiry.6 months agoHelpful?
Q: I have an older in ground lifetime basketball pole that is at least 30 years old and needs replacement. The base of the pole is filled with concrete ... Is this the procedure with the new ones when installing or did Someone do that on their own?
10 months ago- A: Some concrete will likely get inside the pole during the installation of a Lifetime in-ground basketball system. The pole is placed directly into the concrete, and while efforts are made to prevent it, some concrete may seep into the bottom of the pole. If you need help with the pole or if you have further questions, please call our Basketball Customer Service Team for help. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (MT). Live chat is available on Wednesdays and Fridays 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (MT).10 months agoHelpful?

Q: We have an existing in ground pole with diameter 4.5 inches but need a new board. Will the mounting accessory work for our existing pole ?
a year ago- A: The U bolts on the mounting kits are for a 3.5 in round pole. You would need to get a U bolt from a local hardware store that would fit your 1.5 inch pole. Thank you for your inquiry.a year agoHelpful?
Q: How far in the ground can the pole go..we live in the north east and it has to go down a least 3 feet
a year ago- A: The hole should be dug for a round hole 21" deep and 18" in diameter. The pole should set be in the hole with the concrete at 14.5". The hole requires at least 420 lb (≈191 kg) of concrete mix to fill a volume of 3.07 ft3 (≈0.087 m3). 3 feet would make the pole to short for the system.a year agoHelpful?
Q: What is the distance between the pole and the backboard? How far does it hang over?
a year ago- A: The distance from the pole to the backboard at 10" is 15", at 8.5' is 21" and at 4.5' is is 17.5".a year agoHelpful?

2 years ago- A: Yes this system is an inground system and it does come with a pole.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can you hang on the rim?
4 years ago- A: We do not recommend hanging on the rim.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: is the pole long enough to anchor it 3 ft into the ground or do you need to get some type of extension?
