Q: LW1822IVSM vs LW2422IVSM: What is the min BTU of each model for very low cooling load with the compressor running at min speed? When min BTU is reached, the compressor has to cycle off/on and penalizes oversizing. Do both have the same min BTU spec?

Q: I have an old LG 18000 that I am replacing. Used as a thru the wall. Mounted in my 2nd floor bedroom wall the backside going into my garage. this has worked for 35 years. unit is mounted on L brackets and is open on all sides in garage. Can I you this AC?

The LG 18,000 BTU DUAL Inverter Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW1822IVSM, must be plugged into a 240 V, 3-wire grounding receptacle rated at 15A, which has a NEMA Configuration of 6-15R. Thus, the plug will have a 6-15P NEMA Configuration. The receptacle must be protected by a 15 Amp time delay fuse or a 15 Amp circuit breaker so you will need to change the receptacle and the circuit breaker protecting the receptacle...^Ivan.a year ago

Cools room fast!

This LG window AC cools the room fast, which is a huge plus during those super hot days. The included remote makes it really easy to control, and it comes with some nice features that are simple to use. One thing to keep in mind is that it is pretty big, so installation might take a bit of effort, especially if you’re doing it solo. But once it’s in place, it works great and keeps the space nice and cool. Overall, a solid, reliable AC that does exactly what you need it to.

The box itself was heavy but this is a great air conditioner especially since you can control how cool you want it to be and it has wonderful features. Installation was fairly easy and I like the fact it has a power saver mode too.

This window unit feels so boujee lol. I absolutely love it. My husband installed it and didn’t have any complaints, so the installation was pretty easy- which is a plus because some units are such pains to put into the window. I feel like the air quality is great and the noise level of this unit is pretty normal- definitely on the quieter side- which I prefer. The smart features are chefs kiss. I love being able to control it via my phone and by voice! If you’re in the market for an amazing AC unit? Consider LG. It’s exceeded all of my expectations 😌
