The Leupold BackCountry series comes in cross-slot and ringmount styles that accept both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings. This cross-slot model is specifically designed to fit any riflescope with a 30mm main tube. Constructed with incredibly lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum and a milled in recoil lug and low-profile keeper screw, the BackCountry series is one of our lightest and most rugged hunting-style mounts yet.

For strength, stability, and flexibility in positioning high magnification scopes like Leupold's VX-5 and VX-6 HDs for ideal eye relief, I'm yet to find a better combination than the Leupold Cross-Slot two-piece bases and Backcountry Cross-Slot Rings.
