The Leupold BackCountry series comes in cross-slot and ringmount styles that accept both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings. This cross-slot model is specifically designed to fit any riflescope with a 35mm main tube. Constructed with incredibly lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum and a milled in recoil lug and low-profile keeper screw, the BackCountry series is one of our lightest and most rugged hunting-style mounts yet.

Work great on my Remington

Work great on my Remington 700 with a Mark 5HD 5-25x56. It sits really close to the barrel just like I was looking for. Rings hold tight to the mount and rings have stayed tight as well. Quite happy with this purchase.

The Mark 5 is a fantastic optic. As an LEO sniper instructor and SRT sniper for over 15 years, I've used almost every high end scope. The Mark 5 series combines optical quality, size, weight and precision all in one package. The BackCountry Rings are a great lightweight addition to it.

Horrible could not keep my scope secure

These rings are junk! Installed and torque to specs, after 2 range sessions my rifle was shooting so bad. After some inspection I saw the scratches on the scope body which lead me to believe the scope was moving. Took these off and got a set of Mdt’s, scope has never moved a cm since.
