Keep your dog extra warm with the Stowe Base Layer. It's perfect for layering under a jacket and can also be used as a stand-alone piece. It features four-way stretch polyester/spandex fabric with a brushed interior, a high collar to keep out drafts, and dual zippers to harness access. The base layer also does double duty and contains shedding.

- A: Hello, thank you for your question. The Stowe Base Layer is made from stretch polyester/spandex for comfort and mobility, but it’s not chew-proof. Most dogs tolerate it well if it fits properly, but a determined chewer or anxious dog could rip or chew it. To prevent this, make sure it fits snugly, introduce it gradually, and avoid leaving your dog unsupervised while wearing it.7 months agoHelpful?

Like a warm thunder jacket

This is great too add to the sweater and jacket on extremely cold days. It is quite tight fitting so I would add that only one of our puppies really enjoyed it. The other who was an abused rescue dog gets a little overwhelmed by how tight it is but is very happy with the just sweater and jacket combo.

This was a great buy for my short hair dog covers her really thin areas and she could go for longer walks in the winter before getting cold. Make sure you measure correctly I got 1st one to big.

Perfect for winter hiking in the snow

Fit and works well for my dog. Perfect little base layer to keep the snow off my dog on our winter hike days so that it doesn't all ball up in her fur.
