This weather-resistant blanket is made from a durable 600 denier ripstop poly outer shell with a breathable 210 denier lining and 150 grams of poly fill for warmth. It features an easy-access harness slot and buckle front for easy on/off. The shoulder gussets, rear darts, and elastic "Quick Grip" belly wrap allow this blanket to move with your dog, giving them full range of motion while they walk and play.For correct fit measure from base of neck to base of tail.

- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Per the vendor, "This blanket has a buckle adjustment on the front and a belly band with “quick grip” closures on both sides. This allows for the blanket to be taken on and off like someone would their own coat or once it has been sized, it can stay buckled and slip over the head like someone would a sweatshirt. Q: My dog is 55# and measures 24" base of neck to tail. She has one of these jackets but the label on the Velcro says M. Does that mean it's a medium? My new dog needs the same size so I want to get the right one.

Q: Back length alone is insufficient information. Girth is necessary as well: a Standard Dachshund might have the same back length as my Mini Bull Terrier, but girth will be nowhere close. Why not include an image of a complete size chart in the listing?

dog blanket sized for a Great Dane

After many tries this coat fits our super large Great Dane. Bought the 32" back length and it just hits the top of his tail. Stays on when he gets the zooms and gallops through the fields and bushes. I had to shorten the elastic part of the belly strap with a seam to accommodate for his typical Great Dane chest dip. Bought the bright yellow to make him very visible for hunters since he is the size and color of a white tailed deer.
