Q: What prep work needs to be done before painting? My equipment has a few rusty areas but the paint is just feded in most areas.

Sucks

I should have read the reviews on this paint. It’s really bad. I applied it 2 days ago and it’s just like I put it on, nothing no reaction to thinning because I applied it straight out of the can. Just a very bad paint. I expected so much more from krylon. Never again it on. Wet sticky and I’m going to have to strip it. No adverse conditions no major temperature changes

Absolute garbage that does not dry correctly

Hope you have a decade for it to dry. I used the 8:1:1 mixing as directed ( paint hardener reducer all Krylon brand) and waited 5 days to wet sand it for maximum gloss. All it does is suck in the wax and provide no gloss. If I saw my worst enemy picking up this paint I would stop them. Please save yourself the hassle and buy some automotive acrylic enamel for about the same price

Yall should stop selling this line of paint
It never dried 8.1.1 mix sprayed with HPLV paint gun tried to bush it on straight from the can still won’t dry. 10 days
I should send yall a bill for the mess your paint has on this classic car chassis parts

Buy Rustoleum or majic brand Keylon is horrible.

I have used this paint once. It does not cover very well. It does not spray good. It runs and take longer to dry. I refurb trailers and other things on a regular basis. Rustoleum is a much better choice. I have also used the store brand at Tractor supply it is also much better all around than the Krylon.
