This kit, though convenient, can be purchased in separate pieces for much less money. With the exception of the air filter, which is a Kohler proprietary item, the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and spark plugs can be purchased from other less expensive manufacturers such as Pensoil, Fram, Champion, STP, etc. If you're a purest and have to have Kohlers name on the parts and pay the extra for that luxury, than this kit is for you. Be careful to get the correct kit for your engine. The kit I bought had the 3 inch thick air filter rather than the 2 inch thick filter my engine required. Oops.

This is for my model and the air filter doesn’t fit my mower. It’s too tall.
