Best Coffee Ever

Simply the best-tasting coffee I have ever had. I have owned a wide range of drip, siphon, and pour over machines—I even bought a commercial pour over machine with extra warming plates and carafes—and this KitchenAid makes the most consistent and flavorful cup. It should qualify for the SCA Gold Cup standard; it actually brews a tastier cup than the two expensive European machines I own. (I bought the first Dutch-made brand and wasn’t all-too satisfied, so, smart me, I bought an even larger version from the same company and was just as disappointed.) The coffee is nice and hot, the carafe is easy to clean, and all the features work perfectly. A famous TV personality used to advertise a brand of drip coffee maker by concluding with these words: “You can pay more and you can pay less, but you can’t buy a better coffee maker than [Brand N].” Those words describe today’s KitchenAid drip coffeemaker: the best, bar none.

This is the best coffee pot I have ever owned. Coffee is hot from first cup to last. Easy use and cleaning. Only thing is I can't extend time after 2 hours. We sometime drink coffee at different times because my husband gets up early. I have found if I add water to reservoir and turn back on it works fine.
