Our nine year old Kitchen Aide coffee maker died and we had been so happy with it. Well couldn’t find one like it so we got a different model. Not very happy with it. Don’t like cone basket and it’s difficult to get back in place. Cover is very hard to get on. Sometime the interrupt function doesn’t work. It is also very slow to make a pot of coffee. Overall it works but very disappointing after our last Kitchen Aide.

Gold Tone filter remedied

I bought this in 2022. It still works and tastes great (with cleanings) and I just got the replacement filter that had been out of stock for so long. Other filters did not fit as well as the one that came with it. Thank you for getting the Gold Tone filter situation remedied. You have retained a customer!

I RESEARCHED ALL OVER FOR A COFFEE MAKER WITH A REMOVABLE RESERVOIR. THAT WAS #1 ON MY LIST OF REQUIREMENTS AND THEN READ EVERY CUSTOMER RATING FROM NEWEST TO OLDEST. NEXT, I READ EVERY CUSTOMER QUESTION. THIS UNIT IS EASY TO USE AND JUST AS EASY TO CLEAN. I BELIEVE IN HAVE A SPARE ON HAND IN MOST SMALL APPLIANCES SO I GOT A SECOND ONE. I EVEN BOUGHT MY DAUGHTER THE KCM1209 OB FOR MY DAUGHTER WHEN SHE NEEDED A COFFEE MAKER.

Weak Coffee with Plastic Aftertaste

Bought for Christmas in the Charcoal gray color. The coffee produced by the machine is bland, weak tasting and has a plasticy smell and taste and to it. I don't think this machine is a winner. For the record, I used high quality beans and ground them with the kitchenaid grinder (which is great). Tried running multiple batches, tried water with vinegar, nothing got rid of the plasticy taste, and nothing made the coffee taste better.

No, I do not recommend this product.
