KBS Coatings Fusion SEP, Self-Etch Primer, Gallon

KBS Fusion SEP is a fast drying, all purpose self etching primer that gives topcoats a strong bond on bare steel, aluminum, brass, and most hard plastics. Use it on equipment repairs, trailer and truck parts, toolboxes, and plastic fuel tanks, and as the bonding coat when topcoating over cured RustSeal. It dries to the touch in about 15 minutes and is ready for KBS Top Coater, KBS MAXX, BlackTop, or Motor Coater after 1 hour. A single thin coat is usually all it takes. The medium grey gallon covers about 400 sq ft.Apply between 55 and 82 F. Clean and dry the surface; KBS Klean is recommended if cleaning is needed. Stir very well before and during use and apply thin, covering coats by brush, roller, or sprayer. To spray, use 35 to 45 psi on siphon guns or 25 to 35 psi on gravity guns with a 1.0 to 1.2 mm tip, and thin 5 to 10 percent with KBS number 1 Thinner only if needed; do not reduce with lacquer thinner. Allow 1 hour before sanding, priming, or topcoating. Topcoat within 24 hours with no scuffing; after 7 days, scuff with 300 grit first. Clean up immediately with KBS number 1 Thinner or lacquer thinner.
