As with any media blaster, the key is DRY air. If you supply this gun with water free air it works GREAT. Also, remember to keep your media material in a sealed container after you open it to keep any moisture out. With over 20 years of experience working with this type of equipment, this is a great item for small do-it-yourself jobs round home for the price of it.

Good but Please Read

Like others stated the aluminum pickup tube is very light and easily breaks off. It is threaded into the top plate. I removed the original pickup tube, tapped the plate to 1/4" pipe thread and put in a 1/4" brass pipe nipple. Ground an angle on the other end for pickup purposes and the gun works great! Since the new tube is straight, it makes putting the can on this sooo much easier. Using this at 150psi works great.

    Draw tube breaks.

I thought that it was well worth the price but after using two cup-fulls of media I changed my mind. After filling the cup to the recommended level and closing the lid it failed to expel any media. After trying a few things that had no effect I discovered that the lightly made aluminum draw tube was broken.

    Defective directly from the package.

Doesn't work at all. Not even a grain of blasting media. I bought a bag of coal slag from Tractor Supply, so it should work with the product they sell, but it doesn't. Brand new, it's junk. It acts like it's clogged, but if so, I can't figure out what's clogging it. I doubt they stuffed cotton up the pipe, but that's how it acts. This product is total garbage. I should have read the other people's reviews first.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Poor information

Can not find replacement nozzles so I can use different grits. Owners manual is very poor with out schematics or part numbers. Does a decent job on fine grit but they should mention up front that you need a minimum 10 gallon air compressor
