Made In Chine for Made in USA price

Paid a premium price for the POW30OSC expecting premium construction to match, but that's not what you get. It's made in China, and the fit and finish shows it — the pull cord for speed control is cheap plastic that doesn't inspire confidence, and the fan shroud isn't attached in a way that feels solid or built to last. For the money, I expected better materials and tighter assembly.
Performance-wise it moves air fine and installation was straightforward with the included wall bracket. But "does the job" isn't really the bar when you're paying premium prices — durability and build quality should be part of that too.
Time will tell if it holds up long-term. Will update this review if the cheap components start failing, but going in with lowered expectations after handling it.
No, I do not recommend this product.
