It's Working Great Mounted Sideways

I'm the one who asked "Does it have to be mounted upright, or would sideways be okay?" in the Q&As. Although the reply was "The regulator needs to be mounted in the upright position", I don't think that's correct. Here's why: although ARO's part number is R37341-600-VS, it's part of the "2000 Series". If you go to the 2000 Series web page (https://www.arozone.com/en/filters-regulators-and-lubricators/regulators/2000-series-regulators/), there's a PDF called Maintenance Information. And in that document, it says "Mount with the knob up or down on regulator." It sounds like there's total freedom in how you mount it, so I mounted it sideways. And due to the mounting location, I needed to move the pressure gauge to the opposite side, and it turns out that's okay too. So this regulator is designed to be mounted in almost any position, I took advantage of that, and it's working great!
