Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good pump, great value Works great as replacement pump. Good value. It does what it says it will do, low volumes high pressure. Keep lubricated, as all roller pumps freeze up.

will this pump work on vertical shaft engine?

Asked by: Al 67
The pump should work, but it's not considered a self-priming pump.

My pump is connected directly to gas engine it very noisy

Asked by: Pest man
Some noise is normal for roller pumps as the rollers technically "drop" on the bottom portion of the pump when it rotates to provide pressure and flow. If you are not having any leaks and meeting the psi/flow ratings, your pump should be working correctly.

Direction of rotation? Previous answers not clear.  Direction of rotation when given as CCW or CW should be described from a point of reference or point of view.  Such as CW from shaft end, (looking at the end of the drive shaft).

Asked by: fixer upper
The 4101c is needs to turn clockwise and that is looking at it from the shaft end. The pump is designed to be direct coupled to a gas engine.
