    Blue Kevlar belt

    Outstanding invention

    This is seriously the best invention in the world. It is a piece of fabric that has no ending and no start. And when you drop it on the ground, it makes this strange shape. My wagon and buggy might work better if I cut the square wheels into this shape because it looks like it might roll better. I think I will call the shape a "circle". Now I made two more of these "circles" out of some wood and took this fabric and put it around it. Much to my amazement, when I moved one of the circles, the other moved too! I think I might experiment with different sized wheels and see what happens! All joking aside, I used this for a drill press that probably had the original belt on it from 1978. This went on well, tighter than before as expected. Seems to be made well, I wanted this one to last another 40 years which is why I went with a kevlar belt. Works good, no slipping. I think this would be better than other belts (Dayco, etc.) that don't have kevlar fibers.
