Good safe at a very good price. It has double the space as my old safe that cost about $350. Setup took less than 5 minutes. Very, very easy to program the key pad code. LOVE the adjustable shelf, but the plastic shelf clips can be a little challenging to keep in place while adjusting the height.
That's the good, now the needs to improve areas from the manufacturer. The weight is not 64 pounds as stated on the instructions, with the box it is very close to 46 pounds. The LED light is really cool, but not very bright. Over all, still a good safe at a very good price.
The store team members were GREAT!!! There was not a display model on the shelf so they opened one of the boxes and walked us thru the basics. My wife and I are very happy with the customer service and the safe!

My wife and daughter and I are looking forward to becoming licensed to provide foster care. As part of the process, we've been required to store ammunition separately from our firearms, in a locked container. I wanted a safe to store my ammunition in, both for environmental control and for security. These Hornady units were the right size to stack atop my existing safe, and two of them fit neatly side by side. Programming the codes was super easy, and I appreciate that they came with manual keys to override the electronic locks, if/when necessary. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Easy to set up customized code on keypad. Comes with two keys and four bolts to secure it if you wish. Five handgun capacity for me.
