This Hobart Stainless ER 308L Welding Wire is an extra low carbon welding wire for the welding of types 304L, 321, and 347 stainless steels. This Hobart welding wire provides excellent notch toughness at a very low temperature, and deposits a maximum of .04% carbon in the weld metal to minimize the formation of chromium carbides and consequent susceptibility to intergranular corrosion. The wire diameter of this stainless steel welding wire is .030 in., and the spool weighs two pounds.

great wire

i am a welder by trade i have a small lincoln 140 mig that i use for small jobs at fast food joints. this wire runs great no problems with feeding . it's cheaper to buy mig wire at the local welding supply store but they are not open on weekends .i gave this wire a try and like i said it works great no complaints.i would recomend it to anyone if i was asked. the only down fall to this is the price but if your in a bind and need wire this stuff works.

bought a brand new handler 140 and this wire . the wire kept bird nesting due to my fault but also do to the wire binding in the liner. brand new wire brand new machine , went to a local welding shop and bought there brand wire ten bucks less and the machine welded flawless after that!save money dont buy this !
