I apparently got an incubator that was returned and was missing pieces. The cap would not shut all the way and ruined three of my hatches, over 60 eggs until I started taping it shut. Would never buy again. Or at least we make sure it’s new in the box. I was charged the normal price for a used item.

I had to get an incubator last minute, so I settled with this one. I noticed that the humidity isn’t auto controlled like my normal incubators. I thought, no big deal, I’m able to stay at home and monitor it. Wrong. Overnight, the humidity dropped to 38% and it shrink wrapped my chicks that were in there. I lost a few chicks due to that and I have one that I’m trying to save. If you are able to watch the humidity like a hawk, this incubator will do fine. But if you are unable to do that, please do not waste your money and get one where the humidity is auto controlled. This is too expensive to not have that feature.
