Item Information

The Roundup 190327 Backpack Sprayers does the work of a piston or diaphragm backpack sprayer. The exclusive internal No Leak Pump keeps your back and clothing dry. The paddles keep liquids, powders, and water-soluble solutions mixed, in solution, and ready to spray. Also the pump features Viton seals that can be easily changed within minutes without tools (up to 7x faster than the leading competitor). The premium shut-off offers a comfort grip, lockable trigger to prevent hand fatigue, and a removable in-line filter to reduce clogging. The Roundup 190327 Backpack Sprayer is capable of spraying up to 150 PSI for those hard-to-reach areas. The included pressure regulator maintains a low, continuous 25 PSI (great for spraying herbicides and weed killers). The foldable pump handle reverses for left- or right-handed use, and the tank has a built-in carry handle with wand storage.

  • With adjustable padded straps, waist belt and chest cinch strap, the backpack ensures comfort while you work
  • Multiple nozzles are included for ultimate versatility: poly adjustable nozzle (enables stream to cone patterns), wide flat fan nozzle (red, 0.25 GPM, angled at 70 degrees), narrow flat fan nozzle (yellow, 0.15 GPM, angled at 30 degrees), and foaming nozzle
  • Also accepts TeeJet nozzles

Roundup 190327 4 Gal. No Leak Pump Backpack Sprayer is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor pump I have had two of these sprayers in less than two years. Cleaned after every use and all other cleaning according to care instructions. The "pump" simply stops functioning (no pressure) after a couple of months. Pretty sorry excuse for a sprayer of this cost. Save your money and buy 4 or 5 of the one gallon sprayers for less money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cheap plastic clasps broke on first use I filled this sprayer for the fist time and when I went to put it on my back the plastic clasps that hold the shoulder straps to the frame broke. I was able to still use the sprayer enough to empty it and it seemed to spray fine but you have to pump almost constantly to keep it under high pressure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sprays Good, However... I worked for a spraying company full time for 3 years and still part time and have used a number of different brands of back packs and as far as spraying ability goes, this backpack is great. I only use the widespread tips and thankfully, unlike others, this one came with one so that is another plus. One of the best handles too! However, the lid, does not seem to fit properly which causes a major headache. Maybe I got a dud, but if enough people give reviews, only time will tell if this is a common problem or if I did just get a one-off situation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so great Seems fine, you have a whole strap system to strap it on with, shoulder straps, belt bit and a chest bit, a little excessive I think. The nozzles are not ajustable in any way you get three choices and that's it. So far I've used it twice as it was the only one they had in stock. Seems homeowner grade fine for very light use, my other sprayer from a different corny lasted 10 plus years I doubt this will last as long. Will keep you updated here as to how it fairs.

I have used round up, in the proper ratio, can I rinse the tank out and spray fertilizer with it,, if so, how many times do I have to run water thru the tank...

Asked by: elmerT
Yes, you can rinse it out and use another chemical. To thoroughly rinse it, follow these steps: 1. Fill the tank with cool, clean tap water (never use hot water). Replace the cap and tighten securely. 2. Agitate the tank to rinse the chemical from the tank walls. 3. Empty the contents into gravel or bare soil. 4. Refill the tank with clean tap water. 5. Pressurize the tank and spray the water through the wand and nozzle for at least 30 seconds. 7. Empty the contents into gravel or bare soil. 8. We suggest repeating steps 4 - 7 at least 2-3 times (or until thoroughly cleaned. 9. Remove nozzle and rinse thoroughly.
