Q: Can bleach be used in this

1 Answer
  • A: When mixing bleach for a sprayer, always prioritize safety and follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific sprayer. A general guideline is to dilute bleach with water, typically using a 1:10 ratio for general cleaning (1 part bleach to 10 parts water). For stronger solutions, like those used for mildew or algae removal, you might use a 1:4 or even a 1:1 ratio, but it's crucial to check the concentration and safety guidelines for your specific application.

Q: Chemical is not siphoning enough maybe 1/2” after 15 minutes, it’s on 10 flush’s , cleaned it

1 Answer
  • A: Here's how to troubleshoot this problem: 1. Check the Siphon Tube:Inspect and clean the tube: Rinse the siphon tube thoroughly with your hose or in a separate bucket to remove any debris or clogs. You can also use a large paperclip to clean the filter tip, if present. 2. Check the Sprayer Head:Clean the siphoning hole and exit hole,Flush the sprayer head: Turn on the water to flush out any debris that may have been dislodged during cleaning 3. Check the Connection:Ensure a secure connection: 4. Check for Air Blockages:Inspect for air leaks:Air leaks can prevent the sprayer from building enough suction to draw liquid. 5. Check the Nozzle:Inspect for clogs: Look for any visible signs of clogs or dirt in the nozzle. Soak the nozzle in water and vinegar to dissolve mineral deposits and loosen debris. Then, use a small brush or pin to clear debris. 6. Check for Low Water Pressure:Ensure adequate water pressure: While the sprayer head may be working, low water pressure can prevent proper siphoning. Check for kinks or twists in the hose and ensure the spigot is fully open. By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with your Groundworks hose sprayer not siphoning correctly. If the problem persists, it may be necessary to contact the TSC customer service for further assistance

Built to give a decent service life.

I'll start out by saying when I looked at the reviews 2 one star ratings were at the top complaining about how the sprayer only had metric measurement and they didn't know how convert to imperial, yet they knew how to get online to leave a review..... That said, I see pictures with these reviews clearly showing a scale of both ounces and milliliters also the packaging indicated the dial adjust the flow rate by table spoons ( 2 per once ) or could be reduced to teaspoons by the included adaptor. The bottle that hold the chemical is only 16oz as apposed to some other brands that may have a 32oz capacity, but this is designed to spray products that are not diluted and mixed as they leave the spray nozzle. I chose this sprayer due to the metallic construction and compact size, it worked flawlessly. The only down side for some may be the bottle neck size and will typically require a funnel to fill, but this also make the threaded connector compatible with other bottles unlike most other sprayers.

It is all metric units on the bottle. Terrible for use in the USA. I would expect more from TS.
