The Ortho Dial N Spray Hose End Sprayer makes it easy to apply Ortho liquid weed killers, insect killers, and fungicides. There's no mixing or measuring needed, so there's no mess. Simply pour the product into the jar, choose your desired setting and spray pattern, connect the hose and you're off! It has 14 built-in dilution settings to automatically mix the product with water so you can trust that you are providing the precise amount of treatment every time. There are also three spray patterns so you can deliver the product in the most efficient and effective way possible. Use the Broadcast pattern for large, open areas; the Jet spray for high, hard-to-reach places (up to 25 ft. away); and the Shower setting to provide a gentle shower that's perfect for flowers and vegetation. While using the Ortho Dial N Spray Hose End Sprayer, the extended-grip handle keeps your hands dry and the ergonomically designed trigger makes it easy on your grip.

Concept, great, quality just not there.

I’m about to get my fourth unit. I’ve had three over the past two years and the concept and the ease of use is awesome but the quality of parts is just not there. The siphon hose, especially is vulnerable in that it loses its elasticity almost as if it was dipped in some type of a solvent. I would love someone from Ortho call me.

Poor instructions for Ortho products

Product is fine but if you’re promoting how easy it is to use with Ortho concentrates, then maybe put the correct ratio to use with the Hose End Sprayer on one or both products! In this case I’m at a loss how to measure what says 24 oz to one gallon in this sprayer…it only goes up to 8oz per gallon rate :-/

Please note, there are 14 dilution settings to automatically mix from 1 tsp to 8 oz per gallon of water. The Dial Setting of "OFF" means no product is siphoned from jar and will simply be spraying water. Make sure dial is set to a specific setting. The product will not dispense if the arrow above the dial points between settings or is set to "OFF". We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee. Poor application instructions

I bought the Dial N Spray to apply a crabgrass/annual bluegrass inhibitor to my lawn. The application rate is 1 qt per acre. There is not any sprayer dilution information or guidance on how to meet this application rate. What is your recommendation?

We are sorry to hear of the disappointment with the Ortho Dial N Spray label. When using the Dial N Spray you will want to use the dilution rate listed on the label of the product you are applying. The dilution rates for the sprayer are per gallon of water. Based on the information you provided, you will not be able to use this sprayer with the product as the highest dilution rate available is 8oz per gallon.
